SCB-TO Journal Club

Join us for an informal discussion of Ellison’s 2016 paper, “It’s time to get real about conservation” and the response letter “Conservation: smart advocacy needs data” by McCauley, Joyce and Lubchenco. In a time of significant environmental change, should the ecology community focus on data collection, or political involvement?

This will be the second in a series of journal club meetings organized by the Toronto Chapter of the Society for Conservation Biology (SCB-TO). All are welcome, including graduate students, undergraduates, conservation professionals, and members of the public.
